Last year, the massive music brand behind festivals like Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Lollapalooza—Live Nation—launched a one-of-a-kind program for serious festival-goers: the Festival Passport, an $800 flat-rate ticket to dozens of festivals Unsurprisingly, after the massive acclaim for the passport last year, Live Nation decided to bring it back.
This year’s 2018 Live Nation Festival Passport includes a General Admission pass and an all-new VIP tier for those looking to have a spicy festival experience. The GA pass from last year has been bumped up to $999 while the all-new VIP tier will be priced at $5000. Unfortunately, this incredible deal is radically limited as only 2500 GA passes and 100 VIP passes will be sold this year. These passes will be sold off in a raffle held through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Platform, which you can preregister for on the Live Nation website until the window for registration ends on April 12.
If you’re lucky enough to get access to the on-sale, it’ll begin on April 17th at 8am EDT. Speaking from personal experience, it’s extremely likely that said sale will end at 8:01am EDT, but in all sincerity: last year’s set of Passports were all sold within 12 hours. But, assuming you become one of the lucky 2600 people to be the holder of a Passport, you’ll gain access to over 100 festivals, including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Billboard, EDC, Electric Forest, and dozens more. A full list of festivals can be viewed on the Festival Passport website.
